This series was inspired by the textures found in nature, and my many travel experiences. They are created by applying a textural surface to 300 lb. Crescent board or Masonite then painted with acrylic paint. When this is done I start work on defining shapes and increasing and decreasing the intensity of the colors. Some pieces are embellished with found objects and fiber.
